the irony that says it all... only chance 2 drop a PF soldier with full HTwhen u have a flamethrower at cqb is using the side arm if you go at it face to face.

My point is the flamer should be good a cqb... wouldnt you agree?
The motar can be used as a "cqb" weapon on narrow "tight" hotspots where u typicaly can fire up a staircase... i have manage 2 wipe 7-8 man unsuspecting groups out this way... usualy fire 3 moter round in rapid succesion.. since poeple rush the "blast area" on the first one useually thinking pf kill..

No, flame throwers are good for clearing out bunkers, not for close quarter combat with someone that has a bloody rocket launcher.

The flamethower should be the ultimate CBQ weapon in the arsenal of weapons of the soldier class.
And you should be able to kill a pf soilder with it before he can let one rip.

real flame throwers are used for bunker clearing and brewing up tanks, never usuable indoors, in close combat you would fry yourself quite quickly
