wishlist for etpro: enabling sounds of etadmin mod

Well didnt find an official sticky or something for feature requests, so i m just posting it in here:

The sounds of the etadmin mod don't work with etpro. Is it possible to enable those sounds for etpro too?

To enable etadmin_mod sounds all that is required is a "playsound" command in ETPro so that you can play sounds from the console.

Thats true but it must be able on Server Site playsound, and this must be placed in Etpro Sourcecode. This stuff above from me was only some Idee to implement this. I have see it on a other Mod for S****et TFM Mod called.

but you are right

maybe one day there hopefully will be a /playsound.

I guess it got declined because of the ability to abuse with /playsound dynamite planted or something like that.

There already was a discussion about it on the forums ...

I have hear about the discussion from Potter but not found the thread. So i have made my requested here to. I think it will be a nice thing to be able Admin Mod Spree Sound running on Etpro and Ettv. I have make some Skin-Soundpack for Paulaner 100 Mbit (85.25.8.48:27960) but only works with \vsay multikill etc, and then kiddy Freaks go to Soundspam the Server with the Sounds. /playsound sound/misc/multikill.wav etc make it to play all Soundvoices in ET. But i want only the things what the Admin Mod needed to run with Etpro to get Spreesounds init

Well that's why it should indeed only be available from rcon. Otherwise kiddies go spam spam and abuse stuff.

All ETAdmin_mod really does is issue "/rcon playsound sound/misc/multikill.wav" when it detects a multikill.

Users should be given the option to disable it locally cause i do not want to get spammed with annoying multikill/killingspree/whatever sounds

I think you can add this functionality to cg_novoicechats, so you don't need a extra cvar.

But perhaps you want voice chats and not "multi-kill" and the like. I'd wager that more people would want to know what their teammates are saying and would rather not have those other sounds drown it out.

Some People have made some Modifikations for Sh*** ET Mod. It called TFM Mod. They are implemented Hud Ingame Menü to let Clients disable it.But it run only on Sh*** ET. http://brauhaus.gameboo.de/shrubet/tfm- ... -2s-d2.pk3
So please Bani make a extra pk3 for Etpro to implement this feature for Admin Mod Servers.
