could it be done, as an option, to list all the available etpro / etmain commands, and allow only those to be set? i dont even see why its possible to set afioje_aefioej to 1. would cut down on some cheaters, imo, does anyone else see what i mean?

First, you don't set commands, only cvars. Second, without user defined cvars, many useful scripts would be impossible. Third, it wouldn't stop cheats, since they would just move their settings elsewhere.
