Hello,
I found accidentally a bug. It occurs in sniper mode, for both
FG-42 and
Garand/K43 , when I use lunette. If player died in this mode and is revived by medic he can see the area as normall, kinda better. See this:

Dunno, but it could be fixed like: player after revive does not have opened aiming mode
Greetings,

Did you have the scope on whenever you died?

This is as old as ET.
Are you able to reproduce it or does it just happen by accident?

Everything with aiming is ok, just the screen looks as normal, instead standard magnifying.. of course if this ocular (whatever you call it) will become hidden and used again it doesn't show ("bug routine" can be repeated as many times as wanted).
No, player doesn't have to shoot to get such "a bug", it just appears with not matter of using state. And if it's so old, ET programmers would easy fix this... already

Cuz I heard thousand times "as old as ET" with non-repaired bugs \o/
Didn't understand the laugh, but your welcome

its a bug they haven't been able to reliably recreate and has a hard to find cause when it is reproduceable... hence hard to fix...

Actually, this is a different one than I thought. It does seem to be reliably reproducible.
There were a bunch of other occasional bugs in this area which were quite annoying, and not particularly easy. Hence the laugh.
My personal favorite was this one:

a simmilar effect occasionally happens with SMG if you are specing someone in scope just before you spawn... you run arround with a scoped SMG, though i haven't beenable to reliably reproduce it
