With the release of the ET SDK to the public, i'm opening this forum so developers can discuss modding ET.
Examples of acceptable topics:
Discussing SDK issues, RTCW/ET code differences, etc
Modeling weapons/players/animations, shaders, etc.
General ET engine issues, network protocol, etc.
Animations (mds/mdx), file formats
Cross platform development (building linux + win32 from the same source), cross compiling
SDK, ET engine bugs (and fixes )
Examples of unacceptable topics:
Borderline:
'I'm having issues building the SDK in VC++ 6.0'
Basically, we are not going to tutor you in how to program C or C++, or how to use Visual C or .NET.
HL and Q3 modders are most welcome.
