ET Modding Forum Guidelines <- READ THIS FIRST!

With the release of the ET SDK to the public, i'm opening this forum so developers can discuss modding ET.
Examples of acceptable topics:
HL and Q3 modders are most welcome.
Examples of acceptable topics:
- Discussing SDK issues, RTCW/ET code differences, etc
- Modeling weapons/players/animations, shaders, etc.
- General ET engine issues, network protocol, etc.
- Animations (mds/mdx), file formats
- Cross platform development (building linux + win32 from the same source), cross compiling
- SDK, ET engine bugs (and fixes )
- 'how do I program in C?'
- 'How do I install .NET?'
- 'Where do I learn how to mod?' - see this thread instead.
- Mapping - see splashdamage and marko's forums instead.
- Modding Call of Duty
- Recruiting/Advertising for mod teams - see this thread instead
- 'I'm having issues building the SDK in VC++ 6.0'
