Bug / cheat fixes:
server crash bug fixed
clientkick / kick would sometimes kick the wrong player
ref menu 'XP SHUFFLE NO RESTART' callvoted by mistake
pause exploit fixed (flying revived players)
log dynamite plant/defuse, objective steal/return and announcements
b_wolfrof corrected to match rtcw's mp40 rof
Known bugs:
cg_etVersion is wrong
b_wolfrof 1 has 18 damage (rtcw had 14 at this rof).

Mistake
Excellent work Bani, bar two of the worst mistakes the ETPro team have ever made:
Damage falloff and ROF.
I'd like to hear your argument for implementing them. I think the whole ET community have the right to know why you've introduced these.

Our servers now run on 64 bit steroids. Point your ET to:
- Forgotten Ground StopWatch Server with occasional wolfrof 1
- Fraggle Rock ETPub Server - Mix up ET/UT & Duke Nukem

there were pros and cons, but no real argument against making it a cvar. enough people wanted it as an option, so it went in.
rof has also been discussed on and off, again no real argument against making it a cvar, so again it went in.
i've implemented many ideas which were not proposed by anyone (eg pluggable tournament configs, shoutcaster mode, semiadmin (which is actually from rtcw banimod), sv_cvar restriction system, other stuff). the distance falloff and rof were ideas initially proposed by forum members.
still, i've been told the two worst mistakes etpro has ever made were hitsounds and xp limiting...

I'm pretty sure this entry refers to a bug that wasn't in any of the public releases. The effect was that even after someone tapped out, you would still get blood and hitsounds from shooting the body.Dersaidin wrote:YaY!

When I load map battery, the server shuts itself down... Other maps don't cause that. What could be the problem?
EDIT: it doesn't crash the binary, it just does a shutdown_game with error: enable spawning, no spawn entities found...
EDIT2: lol it only happens on battery here. Other maps are fine and server works properly

I dont if this a bug or I'm doing something wrong. But when I try to start my own not dedicated server, just for testing purpose I get this error : "etpro wants ET 2.60 win-x86 Mar 10 2005, not ," , but when I open console i can see that i have latest patch (I instaled it twice to be sure that its ok). I tried to start server with PB and without - the same efect. However i can still connect to other servers and play without any problems.
Im using (if that will help) Win XP SP2.
