speedhack - presumably this is supposed to make the player faster? Never seen any such thing for ET on a cheat site though, and sounds odd since I thought player speed was determined server side. I've seen Speed Hack given for PB cheat kicks however, perhaps it's something else or maybe the detectio...

pb screens are supposed to only upload at 1kb/sec. Actually grabbing and saving the frame can cause a spike, presumably due to HDD activity and additional CPU use. Quite a few servers with rather incorrigible admins have huge lists of useless MD5Tool checks also, again HDD access and cpu spikes. I f...

http://www.rtcw.jolt.co.uk/content/enemy_territory/server_guide/cvar_restrict/et_detailtextures1.jpg edit: thats the problem with r_detailtextures 1 btw. Benefit of it is the high contrast with players (and also so little detail on textures they stand out even more). Downside iirc is axis and allie...

Another funny one is if you get a silenced pistol, and double press 2 (or some key bound to weapon bank 2), It will start to take the silencer off. But if you press 2 just before it finishes the animation, suddenly the silencer is back! :O No real effect on anything though... is an odd one. just pr...

basically you mean extending autoconfig ? easy enough I guess, chuck a load of .config's into the .pk3 and make 'config' a public var*. The hard (impossible?) part is deciding what to put in them, and what to leave out. It would mean people filtering with it would filter out servers that have very s...

did u know..that if youre a competition player atm.. you do NOT have an option, your enemy still have that advantage over you even if u turn it off. its optional SERVER SIDE, not client side - well, optional for pub servers and league admins anyway, since for clanwar it'd be set on or off in a prov...

Weapon limits could be encoded in a similar way... Would it be effective to filter that way though? iirc ET browser has a filter tied to g_heavyweaponrestriction, but maybe aggregating in team_max would make it work better (it's intended function is already half-broken by ETPro shifting most of the...

off top of my head: seta rate 25000 <- bandwidth in bytes, fine if you have at least 256k seta snaps 40 <- snapshots from server, other than 20 is silly (search forum) seta cl_maxpackets 100 <- # of datapackets up to server, setting equal to or above your com_maxfps seems to be the most widely recom...
